How to play

Basic play

Requirement

  • webcam
  • web broser(like PC, SmartPhone)
  • Laser based dryfire training kit or laser toygun.

How to play

  • Allow webcam use in your browser.
  • Add a target frame in the browser and adjust the frame to enclose the real target in the camera image.
    • In addition to manually adding target frames to enclose physical targets, you can also use the downloadable target PDF for automatic detection.
  • When you shoot a target, it responds with a laser and makes a sound.
  • You can play by selecting various game modes.
  • Since the color of the laser is detected, please make sure that the object of the same color as the laser does not enter the target frame.
  • If the webcam is too far away from the target, the laser may not be detected. Shoot at a reasonable distance.

Target list

A list of targets used in the game will be displayed.

In addition to adding from the target list with the Add button, you can automatically detect using a dedicated target PDF file.

You can adjust the shape by dragging the outer frame of the target.

Also, there is no collision detection between the outermost frame and the inner frame of the target, and it will not react even if it hits the laser.

Manual additional target

Targets can be added manually by pressing the Add button at the bottom of the target list.

The selected type of shape, hit sound target is added.

Auto detect target

By printing a dedicated target PDF file and pasting it on the wall, etc., the target can be detected automatically.

Download the target PDF file for your game mode, print it out, and stick it on your wall.

After that, adjust the pasted paper so that it can be seen in the web camera, and press the automatic detection button.

After 3 seconds the target will be auto-detected and added.

Depending on the performance of the webcam, the distance at which automatic detection is possible is approximately 6-9 feets.

Game mode

Free mode

This is a free shooting mode.

Please use it for trial firing and laser threshold setting.

Steel Challenge mode

In the Steel Challenge, compete for the speed of shooting 3 to 5 targets.

Shoot all targets except the STOP target, and finally the STOP target.

Targets can be auto-detect targets or manually added targets.

When to use auto-detect targets

Download and print the Steel Challenge target PDF file.

Then, stick it on the wall etc. so that each target fits in the angle of view of the web camera.

Also, keep the distance between the target and the webcam within 6-9 feets.
(If the distance is longer than that, the detection of the laser light spot and the automatic detection of the target tend to be difficult.)

Press the auto detect button to automatically detect the target.
